Guitar and Gloves |
College Gymnasium on Sunday 7th of March in conjunction with HUB Trust Children’s Day Pool Party. The concert was well attended with a large crowd of adults and children. Many of the children, who have never experienced dance in this context, have walked away with a lasting memory. Perhaps most of them were thinking it was strange and a little bit weird, but one of the Kaikohe Community Arts Councils objectives is to encourage and access a diverse range of arts. This I think we achieved!!
We extend a special thanks to Northland College for the use of the Gymnasium and to HUB Trust (Sarah and Leif) for putting on a fabulous children’s day.
